300 Acres of Loxwood woodland crossed by public bridlepaths and footpaths are owned by Loxwood Clay Pits Ltd (Company number 10729828).

The same Directors appear to own Loxwaste Ltd (Company number 10811990), a skip hire company.

LCP have appointed Protreat Ltd (Company number 07658884), to act as their agent.

19 acres of this woodland, 1.3KM down forest tracks into the native broadleaved oak and ash woodland could be changed by commercial mineral, principally, clay extraction.

(15 acres for extraction, 19 acres when including all the buildings, and recycling area)

A new building to house a waste recycling facility for construction and demolition waste would be sited at the end of the forestry road.

HGV's would skip waste in and remove waste for resale following recycling.

Not sure where the proposed site is? Check out the maps opposite.

Pre-planning public consultation webinars were held in August, October and December 2020 by Protreat.

If you missed them, they can be found on the Loxwood Clay Pits Ltd website.

In the first week of January 2021, new access gates were put up across the woodland, as threatened by Protreat during the consultation.
