LATEST NEWS – a further change to scheduled dates to the planning application!

LOXWOOD CLAYPIT & WASTE RECYCLING PLANNING APPLICATION

IS NOW SCHEDULED TO BE HEARD 18th MAY 2022

We had expected the planning application to be heard at the planning committee meeting on Tuesday 26th April 2022. However, on Monday 11th April we were informed by WSCC that due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, this application is now scheduled for the meeting on 18th May 2022 starting at 10:30 am, the proposed venue being County Hall in Chichester. The agenda for the meeting will be published on Friday 6th May 2022.

The chief planning officer's report and recommendation will also become available from Friday 6th 2022. It is on this day we will be looking to secure public speaking slots for the planning meeting. There are 3 slots available for objectors.

In addition on 6th May, seats in the public gallery for interested parties will become available. These can be booked on a first come first served basis. We understand there are 80 tickets available. 2 tickets are bookable per person but it is important to note that people seated in the public gallery are NOT allowed to speak at the meeting. We understand that anybody who objected/commented on the application will receive a communication outlining how to obtain these tickets. We will need YOUR HELP in filling all these seats in the public gallery with objectors to the application.

Thank you for bearing with us. It’s been frustrating for all to see the dates for the hearing being moved further out but the latest delay was truly unavoidable. As always our sincere thanks for your continuing support!
