After 8 weeks, today marks the close of Sussex Spring Watch #sussexspringwatch.
Thank you to all those who helped put this together and make it a success - Wildlife Wednesdays, Easter Activity Pack, a panel discussion & live Q&A, Springtime Sundays, the Arts Competition and finally, Mr & Mrs Bluetit live from their nesting box!
Thank you also to everybody who entered the Arts Competition- fabulous paintings, photographs and poems from all age groups. Congratulations to all of the prize winners in what was a close competition.
To everybody who took part, thank you for posting photographs and commenting on the beauty, tranquility and wonder of Pallinghurst Woods. We are very lucky to have this on our doorstep and we all need to fight to keep it.
As Sussex Spring Watch draws to a close it doesn’t mean however that we can’t still share the beauty of this environment. Do keep posting your photos/ videos on our FaceBook page.
Finally, what more fitting way to close this programme than remind everybody of one of the reasons we love these woods so much - the bluebells, along with other highlights from the past 8 weeks.
