The Loxwood Claypit planning application to be heard on the 5th of April 2022

We understand from WSCC that the planning application is to be scheduled for the planning committee meeting on Tuesday the 5th of April 2022. It is likely that this meeting will be held in Chichester and the agenda for the meeting will be published on Friday the 25th of March 2022.

The chief planning officer's report and recommendation will also become available from Friday the 25th of March. On that day, we will also be looking to secure public speaking slots for the planning meeting. There are 3 slots available for objectors and 3 for supporters.

In addition from the 25th of March, seats in the public gallery for interested parties will become available. These can be booked on a first come first served basis. We understand there are currently 24 tickets available but this number is under review and may be increased to closer to 75 - we should know if this is the case before the 25th of March. 2 tickets are bookable per person but it is important to note that people seated in the public gallery are NOT allowed to speak at the meeting. We will provide details on how to book seats in the public gallery before the 25th of March for those of you interested in attending the planning meeting.

If any of this information changes, we will keep you updated. In the meantime, thank you all again for your continuing support!
